It’s simple…talk on a phone at the wheel – hands-free or hand-held, then your risk of causing an injury or death is four times as high. Yet a recent survey has discovered that nearly half of drivers (48%) are risking their lives by using their mobile phone at the wheel.

Driving a car at 16 without a licence!
It’s looking like Renault could be introducing a new set of wheels onto the UK roads next year, known as the Twizy. If the new new Renault Twizy goes on sale in the UK, it could set you back around £6,000. But with a maximum speed limit of 28 mph and due to the new light-vehicle category, it can be driven by 16 year olds without a driving licence.

New DSA practical driving test venues
Driving test candidates across the country are set to benefit from a more convenient service as the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) extends a trial exploring a new approach to test delivery. As well as the more traditional test centres, the DSA have been looking at whether they can deliver Practical Driving Tests from other venues such as hotels and leisure centres. Find out more…

Fear of petrol station closures over Easter
Almost 8,000 petrol stations across the country could face closure as less than half of the union’s members vote for strike in a row over terms and conditions and safety. Unite will decide in the next 24 to 48 hours whether to set a date for strikes, but these could be as early as next Tuesday 3rd April, threatening to wreck the Easter break.
